I hate getting trauma nightmares. why can’t I just dream about fighting starwars characters or whatever like I used to? how many times do I have to be reminded? I already know, if it wasn’t obvious enough from all the things that REMIND me of it & I’ve moved away from all these years! I can’t even be awake without this bs! I’m so tired of this. if this is hell then it is sure a freaking punishment.

I mean, i can relate. I learned lucid dreaming a long time ago for this, and then whenever i saw myself "back there" I'd just go lucid and start flying away in the dream. Could help you honestly.
