yes I know some parts have some errors here and there but I mean more of the story aspect of my writing. it was just for shcool but now I feel really intrigued to make another chapter should I make any changes or any ideas for the next chapter? I wanna make it about Maria’s life in the next chapter. it’s called “Death brung life in Autumn” btw :)
edit: I have a fixed version of the 1st chapter and I’m almost done with the 2nd. when it’s done and fixed up I’ll post all of the chapters both in English and in German (hochdeutsch)

WIP of the 2nd chapter
Perched on my porch swing, I hear the wind whisper through barren trees waiting for my friend to meet me, but now she hasn’t been coming lately I feel like these banshee like moans from the crisp winter air has been warning me…
But thank god, I could see Maria in her orange & navy blue puffy jacket. she came this time just a little late, and with some drinks too! She walked up to the porch carefully. “Sorry I’m late, I was kinda busy. I should’ve told you earlier.” “No it’s fine, it’s not my business” I replied. She sat down by me and placed the drinks on the coffee table. I sipped a bit “is this like fruit tea or something?” “Oh it’s hot punch. do you like it?” “Well uh, yeah definitely!”
I sat down my cup and said “so what busy things have you been doing?” “O-Oh it’s nothing I had to clean my boots this time. but in general me and my family have been preparing for Christmas.”
”ahh I see.. I know how it feels it takes so much time just to decorate the tree by itself!” She laughed a bit but I realized she looked kinda nervous. “What’s wrong? you look kinda anxious”
Maria hesitated, fidgeting with her hands.
”it’s nothing just… don’t worry about it.” I was suspicious but I didn’t want to be too nosy so I kept quiet.
The next time, she didn’t come. and again didn’t tell me. I was even more confused, I had to know what was going on! so I went to the other side of the woods and called out her name. Still… I said to myself “that’s it I’m looking for her myself!”
So there I went, through the dry field of grass and into her neighborhood. I remembered her house by the wreath with candles on it on her house and navigated through finally to her house. I knocked on the door worried. A tall woman with long curly bronze hair opened the door “sigh… Ich schwöre, wenn das ein anderer ist- oh hello! who are you?” “Oh hi I’m Lila, are you Maria’s parents? I’m her friend” “oh yes of course! come in. she’s in her room right now”
