Awesome design dude! Considering how easy it would be to pull someone out of its huge mouth, does it have really strong stomach acid to make sure it’s pray don’t escape or does it prefer to crush it first? I love monster/animal designs :)

I think that the appropriate way of handling pray (a bypasser unfortunate enough to make noise) would be to move towards with haste, mercilessly pummel it down with club-like limbs, breaking the majority of bones and restricting possible movement, then swallow up and go on with the day. Elastic but firm skin allows for more exotic and free movement as well as negating damage from harsh terrain, bites or bullet wounds, and since there is a lot of it hanging loose all around the place the thing can both stretch itself to navigate the surrounding environment and eat more macabre leftovers of its devastating attacks.
I liked your idea of reaching inside the mouth to pull something out so Ill keep that in mind
